Mowing To maintain the optimal growth patterns Classic Green establishes a weekly schedule of lawn mowing. With seasonal applications of weed and pest inhibitors, fertilizers and overseeding, the end result is a lawn that always looks neat, trim, lush and healthy. Fertilization At the appropriate times throughout the year, Classic Green performs fertilization applications to the lawn. Correctly proportioned in the needed nitrogen, phosphorous, and potassium, your lawn will reflect these applications with uniform color, growth and density of turf. In most cases this can be included in our spring or fall package programs. Aeration In the spring and fall of the year, most lawns require core aeration. This allows better oxygenation to the soil and bolsters a lawn that may be suffering from the winter freezes or the summer activities. Classic Green can add aeration services to existing contracts or provide this service at discounted rates in our Spring or Fall Package Programs. Pruning On a case by case basis, Classic Green can provide pruning of bushes and small to medium sized trees. When large trees are obstructing or affecting powerlines, Classic Green suggests contacting Ameren UE. If services cannot be provided directly by Classic Green, we will be happy to make referrals for our clients convenience. Mulching/clippings Realizing how important it is to conserve water and provide the needed moisture retention for plants and shrubs, Classic Green provides mulching services on a case by case basis. While these services can be added to existing client contracts, we can perform these services independent of our contracts. When mowing, we maintain sufficient frequency of mowing to allow for clippings to be re-incorporated into the lawn to additionally supply needed nitrogen. Overseeding Along with our Fall Program of aeration, we provide overseeding. This helps to introduce new growth and vigor to the lawn before the onslaught of winter temperatures. We also apply winterizer to provide a well rounded Fall Package. Clean-up yard/beds We provide full service to our clients by making sure the edges and borders of the yard and beds are neat and clean after each service is supplied. We treat your lawn and garden as if it were our own. Trimming As a feature of our full service to our clients, we trim around all walkways, beds, driveways or areas bordering your lawn. We want your lawn to have that top-notch appearance. Insect control Classic Green knows the devastation that can be caused by pesky grubs and other insects to your lawn areas. To prevent this happening to our clients, we add insect control applications to our Spring Packages and seasonal contracts. Pest control Grubs respond well to our chemical applications; however moles are a situation that may prove more difficult. Classic Green is always on the look-out for any signs of moles when servicing your lawn and will be happy to make referrals to professional extermination companies for the convenience of our clients. Evaluation of Lawn Condition To provide optimal and economical services to our clients, we provide at no additional charge free estimates for your information. To arrive at an estimation of the best services we can provide, we take the time to evaluate the overall condition of your lawn, the type of grass, soil condition, dimension of the cutting areas, terrain, prior care, changes or additions required, presence of sprinkler systems etc. and type of services the client is considering. This helps us tailor the best program to meet your individual needs. Package Programs While we have found our present clients like the features of our all-inclusive yearly contracts, some homeowners may try package programs for services Classic Green provides at special times of the year.
